How to gain knowledge in robotics?

Though there are more resources available, most of the new learners are puzzled . Here are few things that you can kick start your learning curve.Same order  preferable.

1. EBooks / books -  choose a book which gives you more learning interest. I am deliberately not mentioning the author. Choose the topic of books - fundamentals /basic  of robotics etc. Never start with ppts/ commercial websites .

2. learning videos on you tube

3. open source contents from leading Universities like MIT, IITs, NPTEL etc

4. Choose/ identify articles from journals

5. Associate yourself with a group of common learning interest and buy a DO IT YOURSELF KIT.

for simple programming in electronics

6. learn the fundamentals of matrix transformation, jacobians , drives and control, sensors etc

7. Attend workshops / conferences - participate and present papers.

above all create an enthusiasm in learning which is the driving factor.
